Longest Table Opens Dialogue Connecting Communities

Shown are patrons Debra Davis, Bishop Lorenzo Hall and Antoinette Jones enjoying the conversation of table mates.

Due to inclement weather, the ‘Longest Table’ event was shifted to the Prime Osborn Center.  The annual event invited local business owners, housewives’, corporate executives and your average neighbor to dine alongside individuals who met for the first time at the longest table. Hundreds convened at the tables for conversation delving into each guest’s personal/family life, business endeavors and a day to make friends from every walk of life.

Now in its seventh year, the civic dialogue event features 60 feet tables with guided instruction on discussions built on intention to build and strengthen community connections across economic, cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds.
