The Ritz Museum was the location for ‘Airing Grandma’s Laundry and Other Hush, Hush Secrets,’ stageplay. For the third year in a row, the plays comedic cast of characters graced the stage spewing all the family gossip. Playwright and Ribault class of 1991 graduate Natasha Mack wrote the book in 2011 and have been on a journey to have the play scheduled for a national debut.
Growing up Natasha was always at the heel of her elders surrounded by all the family nuances. “I wanted to write a book that was fun and detail how families have secrets and sometimes you want to ask and find out, but the cost you have to pay will be revealed,” said Mack.
The sold-out Mothers Day crowd laughed, cried and clapped for the characters that took you back in time to see what your grandparents and other relatives were like in their youth.
