Jacksonville’s Phi Delta Kappa Sorority, Delta Delta Chapter, a national educators sorority, culminated their Founders Day re-dedication service with a school supply collection in honor of their field. The “Torch Lighting: Motivating True Women in a Chaotic Society,” ceremony invited chapter members to rejoin and rethink their participation in the 44-year-old-chapter’s mission and goals. Guest speaker, the city’s Chief of Public Safety Lakesha Burton, challenged the members to continue to providing leadership to the communities and to promote excellence at every level. Supplies will be donated to the Raines High School Students.
