AKA Adds Feminine Dignity to Roster of Community Deliverables

The Alpha Beta Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, collected over 7,000 feminine items and other donations  for women and girls in partnership with Renewing Dignity.
“I appreciate the community recognizing the importance of having feminine products readily available for those ladies who need them the most,” said Chapter President Vernice Whitfield. the mission of Renewing Dignity is to eliminate “period poverty” through menstrual product distribution, education and advocacy.  This fits right in with the Alpha Beta Eta Omega Chapter’s focus on uplifting and empowering women in our community.
