State Representative Angie Nixon is continuing her quest to keep neighborhoods clean and safe. Nixon’s office teamed up with Pastor Mark Griffin of Wayman Temple for a Westside cleanup near their campus on Labelle Street. Volunteers from the church and surrounding neighborhoods were eager to support the clean up, “If we don’t keep our neighborhoods clean, then who will,” said volunteer Rolando Graham. The grassroots effort continues to make an impact in underserved communities. Nixon’s other cleanup efforts include the Moncreif and 45th area on the Northside of Jacksonville.
