Calvin L. Burney, Sr., 69, long time planner for the City of Jacksonville, passed away March 24, 2022 after an illness.
He is survived by his wife Betty and sons Calvin and Craig along with a host of extended family and friends. A wake and visitation is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. Fraternal rites for Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity will being at 6:30 p.m. The celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 2nd at 11 a.m. Both wake and the services will be held at St. Paul AME church located at 6910 New Kings Road.
