As you are driving around Jacksonville, particularly, on I-95 southbound near Golfair Boulevard, you will see a billboard featuring literacy campaign that features youth from around the city. One of those featured in the first frame is Almaryee S. Jones, an active member of National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Incorporated, Alpha Gamma Youth Chapter Xinos (females) and Kudos (males). She was selected as a youth representative by Literacy Pros of Jacksonville, which is a community-based organization that promotes literacy and academic excellence among youths. Almaryee currently attends William M Raines High School where she is ranked in the top 5% of her graduating class. When she is not busy with school, she is very active with the praise dancers, youth ushers and the youth choir of Union Progressive Baptist Church.
Drivers can check out the stationary billboard near Golfair @ I-95 S or one of the “moving” billboards on Phillips Highway, Southside Blvd or San Jose Blvd. Throughout their tenure, the Alpha Gamma Chapter continues to mentor, encourage and salute their Xinos as they approach adulthood.
