Since 1997 Jerome Browns BBQ establishment has fueled the northside with their lip-smacking BBQ! Every year during the month of June, Jerome Brown invites the community to their annual Senior Day providing free BBQ to all seniors ages 65 to 100! Special guests included former Congresswoman Corrine Brown, and former Florida State Senator Audrey Gibson. Seniors lined up in the heat to receive their free meal, meet friends, while staying cool in front of the many fans located on the premises. Proprietor Jerome Brown, his wife JoAnn and daughter Katrina hold court daily and during the weekends where hundreds of customers drive through the pickup window for their tasty savory BBQ morsels. “We always want to give back to community. We have crown ourselves the BBQ kings in Duval and plan to live up to our name,” said daughter Katrina Brown.
