Home sales and prices are going up. Inventory is going down. Many potential homebuyers are still trying to figure out how the recent rise in interest rates will affect them. Still, your home is your biggest investment. In fact, experts say Florida median home values have grown by 33.1% over the past year. June is Homeownership Month, a time to celebrate the importance of owning a home and the impact it has on the lives of American families, the community and the nation’s economic health. To commemorate and recognize homeownership month, Wealth Watchers Inc. hosted its annual luncheon, “Legacy – A Foundation for the Future,” at The River Club.  “We recognized our partners and those in the community who have helped residents achieve the American dream. Local mortgage loan officers and realtors are essential in the home buying process. This is our opportunity to thank them,” said Carrie Davis, Wealth Watchers President/CEO. Wealth Watchers helps neighbors navigate through the home buying process by providing homeownership education, workshops, counseling and more. The organization’s goals are to help people establish and maintain generational wealth. Shown l-r is Ed Gaston (Wealth Watchers, Inc. Founder – COO), Lisa Chapman, Deloris Barnes, honoree George A.
