By Ivan Thomas – Sports enthusiasts gathered on Thursday for the launch of FanZoos, a new tech company that aims to revolutionize the way sports content is received and how fans connect around the latest news and developments in the sports world. The event took place at the Beaver Street Enterprise Center. It was free to the public. Created by Wilnic Marc and partners Richardson Pierre and Clerna Marc, FanZoos is not your grandfather’s online portal. It contains raw, unadulterated, 24-7 accessible fun for hard-core and casual sports fans. Whether they are at the game, or sitting on the living room couch, everyone can have their voices heard. “FanZoos is a web video platform that serves as a community for sports fans everywhere, allowing them to post videos, provide analysis, rant and engage in discussions about their teams and other topics in sports,” Wilnic Marc said. “Consider it a cross between Facebook, YouTube and ESPN.com.” During the event, attendees enjoyed a reception with music, food and beverages before having the opportunity to create personal accounts on-site and experiment with the website on their own.
