White Harvest Farms Beekeeper Training Program Graduation was recently held at their location on Moncrief Road. It is the first training program offered by the Clara White Mission to return since the pandemic. Each student completed 196 hours of training to qualify for this certification. The White Harvest Farms Beekeeping internship is sponsored by the Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Program. The 14-week course gives students hands-on experience tending to native bees and making honey-based products. While the course is free, students must pay for the $200 bee suit.
