As Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close, one of the Frist Coast’s newest business,  the Duval Coffee Company, held a ‘A Cup of Pink’ morning gathering to enjoy good coffee, conversation and company. Located in the former Save-a Lot plaza on Edgewood, invited guests included former and current politicians, neighbors and friends that like to start their day with a good cup of morning Joe! Accompanied by the freshest brew introduced by bistro owner Stanley Strickland, conversations revolved around community revitalizations, gentrification, education and Duval’s upcoming general elections.

“This coffee shop is great in our community; this is what we need to converse and network on issues that affect us and only us,” said attendee Mitchell May.  Shown at the Duval Coffee Company coffee talk is community family and friends celebrating Northsides latest addition.
