The Northside’s Community Rehabilitation Center (CRC) held their 25th annual golf tournament at Southside’s Hidden Hills Golf Club. President Reggie Gaffney was front and center for the 8 a.m. shotgun start. There were 26 teams sparing for first place. Sponsors, supporters and staff held court in the club house and golf grounds quietly cheering on their teams! During the tournaments luncheon Gaffney remarked, “Our mission will continue making lives whole one person at a time.” Founded in 1993, CRC is a comprehensive mental health program for the minority population. The center services more than 200 clients per day and addresses transportation, mental health, substance abuse and HIV treatment for the underserved northside population.
