Boss Awards Honor Black Entrepreneurs Yearly Success, Achievements and Ownership

By Lynn Jones-Turpin – The 4th annual ‘Best Boss’ formal attire affair awards gala honoring African American men and women entrepreneurs in Duval County was recently held inside the Doubletree Hotel-Downtown Riverfront. The awards gala honored and recognized a barrage of categories for entrepreneurs to pre-vote on the Best Boss in town! Categories included best caterers, comedian, barbers, boutiques, DJ’s, pr/marketing company, funeral home, educators and more. Nominees were dressed to impress while enjoying a day of celebration and salutations and motivation for entrepreneurs to move forward and believe in their endeavors. The Best Boss Group USA is an organization for African American business owners who desire to become entrepreneurs and support black owned businesses. The Best Boss awards goal is to work together and pool resources in order to help fulfill business owner’s missions individually and collectively. The awards celebration is now a staple on the gala of the year scene.
