By Lynn Jones-Turpin – Real estate agent and entrepreneur Adrian Gentry has seen it all, from the bowels of the worst house in town to the eclectic modern mid-century style home, his real estate acumen stays on the cutting edge. With his hectic schedule, Gentry eats lunch and sometimes all his meals during the day at local restaurants. Soon a bright idea popped inside his head to start the Best Eats Facebook group dedicated to the best eats cuisine in Duval County. Without being held to one food type, business category, genre and/or location the best eats groups post pictures throughout the day of their top eats around town.

Recently the group met for their first in-person socially distance meet-up inside the Pink Salt restaurant at their new location on San Marco Blvd. Previously located in the Lakewood area off San Jose, Owner and Chef Richard Robinson brings his decades of restaurant and catering expertise to foodies to enjoy. His menu is an eclectic array of seafood and Jamaican delicacies. When asked about his food philosophy, Chef Robinson said, “Our mantra is to only use the freshest ingredients and just the right amount of flavor to keep customers coming back again and again. Our cuisine preparation rests on five principles of food preparation: integrity, passion, fresh ingredients, service and customer satisfaction,” he said.
