Beta Alpha Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority held their annual scholarship award ceremony at their June meeting.
Scholarship winners were treated to a meet and greet with sorority members, family and friends. before receiving their awards. Each recipient was $500 scholarship to further their education. Scholarships are awarded annually to full time high school students and are nominated by chapter members for exemplary service to their community and excellence in their academic performances. Scholarship Committee chair Scholarship Committee Chair Jackie Bartletto remarked, “It’s always inspiring to meet these young ladies in person and to listen to how eager they are to begin this new chapter in their life.” Shown are awardees Lindsey McPherson (Stanton High School) and Rickell Ford (Lee High School).
