Jax Kitchen is a commercial rental kitchen licensed by the Division of Hotel and Restaurants and is where caters come to cook! The facility is shared by other caterers, cooks and food industry professionals and is equipped with gas stoves, storage area, refrigerators, cooking utensils and culinary tools of the trade.

The Women’s Food Alliance (WFA) organized in 2013, cultivates and advances networking, education, and collaboration for women in the culinary and hospitality industry in the Northeast Florida region, while offering educational, enlightening and fun monthly events in various venues throughout the northeast Florida region.

“The WFA events are primarily held on Monday or Tuesday evenings with a theme for the seasons. Today’s theme was focused on a facility to cook indoors and year-round; even though you may not have the equipment, we wanted our vendors, food and hospitality  leaders to witness Jax Kitchen and the opportunities available to them,” said Leigh Cort, President of the WFA.
