The Group of Social Media Influencers Will Share Unique Local Content to Promote Jacksonville. Visit Jacksonville, the City’s tourism marketing organization, is excited to introduce our new social media Tourism Ambassadors. This exceptional group of eight passionate Jacksonville residents will each use their voice, and social media clout, to help us share with the world why they love living in Jacksonville by featuring the unique experiences and attractions that make our city one of the best places to live, play and visit in Florida.
“As people begin to travel again, they want to experience a new destination from a local standpoint and do the things that locals do. Visitors want to eat at the cool neighborhood restaurant, they want to shop at the boutique with the locally made goods, they want to safely have fun where the locals go. One of the best ways for them to know that any spot is legit is to first discover it through the eyes of people who live here and who truly know and love their hometown,” said Katie Mitura, Director of Marketing for Visit Jacksonville. “We have identified those Jacksonville Ambassadors and we are partnering with them to show off the best of Jax.”

Each Ambassador will share exciting Jacksonville content thru their social media sites, from food to family fun to art to outdoors/nature.
