Book Festival (Fiction, Romance, Erotica, Spiritual, and Health.). This three-day international Book and Film event is one of the largest in Florida, and for the last 13 years, its major sponsor has been the City of Daytona Beach. With 40 authors, speakers, and local, state, national and international authors, get ready to have some fun for all ages. On Thursday February 22, thru Saturday February 24, 2024, there will be a gathering of authors, editors, and filmmakers, around the world, will discuss their books and wisdom related to their crafts. Please register at www.freshbookfestivals.net before 11:59 PM, Monday, January 15, 2024. All registration includes half-page ad in the virtual F.R.E.S.H. Book Festival 2024 program booklet — includes author photo, book cover, and contact info. There will also be a 10 minute interview and presentation, with a moderator with all registered F.R.E.S.H. authors.
The Host Hotel will be The Daytona, A Marriott Autograph Collection Hotel – 1870 Victory Circle, Daytona Beach Florida. Thursday, February 22, the 8th Annual F.R.E.S.H. Book Film Festival will be held at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University at the College of Aviation, 1 Aerospace Blvd, Daytona Beach, Florida. (Featured filmmaker: Sontenish Myers) The VIP Reception starts at 5:30 to 6:30 pm, and films starts at 7:00 pm. The cost is $10.00 and free with Author Registration.
Friday 23 and Saturday 24 the book festival begins at 12:00 noon, and there will be two full days of workshops, interviews, speeches, excellent dinners and awards. This year well known authors and successful book executives will share their secrets on how they sell books in a competitive, diverse, and mainstream publishing business. Many authors are starting to sell books in other countries and they will share their knowledge. Mr. David Simon, director of the National Black Book Festival, UK, will also be a part of the festival and will be zoomed in for discussions with the attending audience. February is Black History month so get ready for some surprises, knowledge, beautiful art and accessories.
