Teach A Rama Workshop Assist with Moving Student Forward for Academic Success

The Delta Delta Chapter of the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc., a professional organization for educators, recently hosted Teach-a-Rama 2019 inside the Shands office complex.  The session focused on members learning and developing actionable targets to help teachers and administrators academically move students forward. Panelist included Dr. Jerome Mosley, (Long Branch Elementary assistant principal), Felicia Thomas (teacher) and Julia Paul (ARNP Shands Trauma Manager), who enlightened the group about mental awareness, and mindfulness as it relates to teacher stressors, student anxiety and academic performance. To reinforce student reading needs, participants received educational and leaderships books for their professional libraries.
