Today’s kids are moving into the new age of machines and technology and Shiva Robotics Academy is on the front line to equip them with the right skill set for the future workforce. Employment in occupations related to STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—is projected to grow multifold. Shiva Robotics Academy is an educational institution partnering with Communities in Schools and Jacksonville Children’s Commission to teach students STEM concepts through LEGO building activities.
Lesson plans cover a variety of science subjects, including ocean life, space exploration, air power, magnetism and animal survival. Each session is designed to encourage students’ curiosity and inquiry while explaining difficult concepts in simple terms.
