The Royal Vagabonds 44th Sweethearts Ball was attended by members, family and friends for an evening of entertainment, networking and fundraising for scholarships to college students.
Held at the UNF Adam Herbert conference center, the dance showcases the clubs accomplishments, melanin connections and chapter success.
Incorporated in 1948, The Royal Vagabond Club was created by professional men in the community with the desire to have a positive presence in the community for Blacks during the years of Jim Crow and segregation. Each year the club fundraising efforts include their annual golf tournament, sweetheart dance, card games and community volunteerism.
