The Jean Ribault Athletic Hall of Fame committee festively inducted the 2021 and 2022 classes after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic. Held at Platinum Events, Ribault legends Laveranues Coles, Shelia Seymore-Pennik and Clifford Johnson were amongst the honorees. Amongst the two classes, a total of sixteen names were enshrined in Ribault Athletic History. Established in 2017 by founder Ron Johnson, Jr. (a Ribault c/o 1994 Alum and 2020 inductee). The inaugural included Coaches Bernard Wilkes and Gwendolyn Maxwell and Olympic Gold medalist Chandra Cheeseborough.
The Hall of Fame was created to honor the long and storied athletic legacy at Ribault High School. Nominations will began in January for the 2023 induction class.
