When it comes to scholastic aptitude and African American history legacy, William M. Raines Vikings High School alumni stay in the forefront celebrating their success. In celebration of the season, the Raines Class of 1976 met for a Christmas soirée to mix, mingle, and share memories and camaraderie with classmates. Held inside Allusions Restaurant on Soutel, invited classmates hugged and smiled for the cameras capturing their holiday affair memories and moments.
“We were excited to get together for this festive occasion to reminisce and see our friends,” said organizer Kathy Mildry. Mildry and friends organized the reunion that included a buffet dinner, cocktails, door prizes and a live band spinning the high school hits! Invited guests included all Raines 1970’s classes, family and friends. Enjoying the soirees success, classmates vowed to make the reunion an annual holiday reunion gathering.
