President Biden and Vice President Harris Launch Black Voters for Biden-Harris

This week President Biden and Vice President Harris launched Black Voters for Biden-Harris, a national organizing program to bolster our continued historic investments in outreach to the backbone of the Biden-Harris coalition – Black voters.

As part of the launch, Black leaders across the battlegrounds from Savannah to Detroit are highlighting the ways the Biden-Harris administration has delivered for Black Americans – achieving record low Black unemployment, increasing Black wealth by 60%, ensuring more Black Americans have health care coverage than ever before, capping the price of insulin at $35 per month for seniors, and forgiving billions in student loan debt.

At the events, Black leaders are also highlighting how Donald Trump made life worse for Black America as president and how, if reelected, he wants to continue to demean and hurt Black communities by repealing the Affordable Care Act and ripping away health care from millions of Black Americans and continuing to divide the nation by emboldening white supremacists and supporting policies that widen the racial wealth gap.
