One Spark Creators Win Again

This year’s 2018 One Spark was completely re-imagined and gathered the best and brightest minds under one roof in Daily’s Place new state-of-the-art facility. The event was held last weekend and was transformed into Idea City, where attendees experienced the latest big ideas, demonstrations and interactive learning, along with live music, food, craft beverages and local culture. This year, the Spark Exchange allowed attendees to vote in real time for their favorite creators, ultimately deciding the 2018 Creator of the Year for cash prizes, startup packages and bragging rights. Select Creators were also invited to participate in the Spark Tank competition, where they competed for $25,000 in funding.

The One Spark festival is one of the most efficient ways individuals and teams to receive market validation, direct feedback and to network with those who may be able to provide personal or professional connections to advance their ideas to the next stage of development. Shown is this year’s LifeSpark Creator Zone $2,500 winner: Boss Helmet, a Jacksonville company working to reduce concussions in football via impact reduction shown with attendee Terry Harris.
