By Lynn Jones – Legendary R&B group the O’Jays may have been without Eddie Levert at their recent concert, but they didn’t leave fans upset. The Moran Theater was a packed auditorium to witness 62 years of music. Fans sang background to the group’s hits as the famed group crooned to their devoted fans. “Covid tried to kill me two years ago, but prayer keep me here to talk about it; we had a great career, no complaints, yes we’ve had our up’s and downs and that’s to be expected,” said founding member Walter Williams. The groups founder Eddie Levert was out due to Covid Pneumonia.
