MOSH Exhibits Showcases History of Florida Culture, Energy, Toys and Now Dinosaurs!

Since 1941, The Museum of Science and History (MOSH) has been on a mission to provide visitors the opportunity to explore science and nature exhibits. Receiving many awards and accolades MOSH exhibits include the Hixon Native Plant Courtyard, JEA PowerPlay: Understanding Our Energy Choices and Health in Motion: Discover What MOVES You. In addition, the MOSH provides guests with exhibits that showcases African American and Indian history of Jacksonville and the state of Florida. Currently MOSH is promoting the Toytopia exhibit that peeks the curiosity of toy lovers with fun and informative displays, and offers an immersive experience in which to explore the history of toy making. This family-oriented exhibition invites children of all ages to engage in play with some of the world’s most iconic toys. On display are arcade games from the 1970s and 80s, a life size Etch A Sketch, and oversized version of Connect 4, Battleship and nostalgic Monopoly game! Up next is the The Lost World of Dragons exhibit that explores the history and culture of life-size animatronics dragons with realistic movements and sound, as well as interactive displays that take guests through the stories of dragons throughout history.
