J’Ville Riders Take to the Streets for Public Schools

J’Ville Riders Motorcycle club took their Sunday day of rest and rode through the city to show support for and promote passage of the half-cent tax for safe, secure and modern schools on the general election ballot. Limited due to the Covid-19 restrictions, 25 club members, family and friends masked up and rode their bikes to the Maceo Elks lodge on Duval St. for an escorted police ride throughout the city. The ride culminated with a rally highlighted by Duval County School Superintendent Diana Green. The club’s 21-year motto, has been “We Just, Ride.”  In addition to riding for enjoyment, the club saddles up for local charity events, volunteer opportunities and community service activists.
