Ms Junetenth Micah Webster-Bass – The second annual Miss Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant held at the Ritz Theatre and LaVilla Museum over the holiday weekend. A sold out audience of family, friends, and Juneteenth celebrants witnessed a cultural pageant steeped in the African American experience. The unique pageant is designed to promote sisterhood, unity, and social awareness. The winner of the 2022-23 Ms. Juneteenth pageant is Miss Micah Webster-Bass who wowed the audience with her spoken word and modern dance routine. Miss Webster-Bass is the daughter of the Honorable Judge Lester and Selena Webster-Bass. Micah Webster-Bass won a $1,000 award and will now compete for the National Miss Juneteenth title this fall in Galveston, Texas.
