Duval Pageantry Crowns Mr. & Mrs. Duval

Entertainer Marquis Frantz Iman and Darnell Lanier known as Diva Cliché, were recently crowned the 28th Mr. and Ms. Duval. The two contestants beat out ten others for the coveted roles. The contestants, all masters of illusion, competed in the following categories: presentation, talent, sports/formal wear, evening gown and a Q&A segment.  This year’s theme was the ‘Roaring Twenties,’ and ‘85 to African,’ connecting Atlanta’s state route highway to Africa’s gold coast. On the program was the coveted lifetime achievement award presented Dee Dee Yant who was crowned the first Ms. Duval in 1974. It is the sole mission of Duval Pageantry to empower, educate and evolve the LGBTQ community in areas that positively impact the mental and physical well being, by providing creative outlets and references to resources for firm foundations on which they stand.  Shown are winners Mr. and Ms. Duval Marquis Frantz Iman and Diva Cliché.
