Jacksonville, FL — The Jax 95ers are gearing up for an exciting new season after an impressive first-place finish in the Atlantic League. Known for their winning spirit and standout entertainment, including the league’s best dance team, the organization is making waves both on and off the court.
As part of their ongoing mission to be a “conduit for unseen and untapped talent,” General Manager and Coach Dwane Joshua announced that training camp will take place February 15-16, with 26 players vying for 15 coveted roster spots. With outstanding picks from the combine, despite the notable 18th draft selection, the team is positioned to build on its championship-caliber foundation.
“We’re incredibly proud of our players. We’ve already seen a few move up to the G League, and I’m confident that 5-6 current players have the potential to reach the NBA,” said Joshua. The team is committed to identifying and developing talent that might otherwise go unnoticed.
In addition to player development, the Jax 95ers have formed a promising new relationship with the Sports Management Department at Edward Waters University (EWU). This partnership underscores their commitment to fostering connections that uplift both players and the local community.
