Former National Football League (NFL) Jaguars running back Fred Taylor was the guest speaker for the annual Chamber of Commerce Trustee Luncheon at the Deerwood Country Club. Hundreds of members welcomed the University Of Florida Athletic Hall Of Famer to the stage for a discussion between JAX Chamber President and CEO Daniel Davis. Since retiring from the NFL, Taylor has dedicated his work to philanthropy and uplifting disadvantaged communities while being the co-host for the Emmy-nominated show, The Pivot Podcast. Taylor, who was a Pro Football Hall of Fame Finalist for the first time in 2024, is also a member of the Pride of the Jaguars. Chamber president Daniel Davis and Fred Taylor dialogued on his illustrious career, inspiring members with his commitment to his community and mentoring the next generation of football rookies.
