Over the weekend local African-American leaders tapped into the growing excitement about the upcoming election to register voters at Vixen Beauty Suites barbershop in Jacksonville. The October 18th registration deadline, extended due to Hurricane Matthew, has seen a spike in voter registrations across the state. Shown registering to vote is Larry Walters and Lisa Sams.
