Surrounded by the serenity of the St. Johns River, Toni Gordon and James Hale stood in front of family and friends and shared vows of love and respect. The wedding party consisted of eight groomsmen dressed in gray suits and bridesmaids in turquoise happily standing in awe of the couple’s ceremony of matrimony. Toni and James met through neighbors over 16 years ago and as destiny prevailed, reconnected six years ago. They dated and ultimately joined together to become man and wife. Reverend Levi White, Jr., of New Birth Baptist Church, officiated the ceremony in front of 30 guests. James is employed as a Chef at the Georgia World Congress Event Center, while his bride Toni is a Real Time Analyst at a local bank. The couple will reside in Jacksonville, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia. They are currently in Puerto Rico on their honeymoon! Barlow photo.
