To celebrate the 92nd Anniversary of the Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. the Gamma Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter held a Rededication Ceremony on the campus of Edward Waters College. The following Friday, November 14th, the chapter made a donation of school supplies to a local charter school in celebration of National Education Week. The celebration continued on Saturday November 15th when they joined the men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity for the Day in the Real World Project at the University of North Florida, and on Sunday November 16th they fellowshipped at St. Stephen AME Church.
The Gamma Omicron Sigma Alumnae Chapter was founded September 29, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida. The chapter oversees two undergraduate chapters; Delta Upsilon at Edward Waters College and Rho Pi at the University of North Florida.
