Football Camp A Touchdown to Achieve Success – Nease High School grad Mario Butler held his second annual Mario Butler Foundation Football and Cheer Camp, Saturday, June 20th at Mandarin High School. The camp had over 250 kids from throughout the First Coast show up to learn from several NFL players. The event’s title sponsor, Brooks Rehabilitation, had several staff members from its Center for Sports Therapy on scene to help make sure the kids stayed hydrated in the over 100 degree temperatures. The goal of the foundation and camp is to give disadvantaged youth the opportunity to rise above life’s obstacles to achieve winner. In alignment with this, all parts of the camp were free to participants, and each child received attention from the players and mentors. John Weidner photos
