The historic Florida Theatre held its annual signature fundraiser, The Florida Ball: Big Easy Style, raising 200,000 in support of the arts and culture in Downtown Jacksonville. Since its creation, the event has raised $1,684,000 since 2013 for the almost 100-year-old Florida Theatre venue. Hundreds of patrons, guests and supporters were welcomed to a transformed theater for a night of craft cocktails, New Orleans-inspired cuisine, one-of-a-kind auction items, and dance the night away with The Band Be Easy. The evening supports the Theatre’s mission to enhance Northeast Florida’s quality of life by bringing memorable arts and entertainment experiences to our community and by preserving a unique historic Jacksonville landmark.
