EWC Gets First Branded Buses

Jacksonville’s own HBCU, Edward Waters College (EWC), the state of Florida’s first independent institution of higher learning, recently added transportation to its list of accomplishments. after renting buses for decades to meet their transportation needs, thanks to the generosity of Kelly Tours, the school now the proud owner of several buses. The buses will be used to transport students and faculty members for athletics and other college related events.
When the EWC branded motor-coach is not in use by the College, Kelly Tours will make the motor-coach available to other travelers. “When other groups are traveling throughout the United States of America, guess what they will see…EWC! This is a great tool for recruitment and exposure of our brand throughout the country.” said President Faison.
EWC was established in 1866 and is an African Methodist Episcopal Church-related institution of learning. It is the first private institution of higher education in the State of Florida.
