Springhill Missionary Baptist Church recently ordained Deacons Bobbie White and Jamie Usher – a prestigious honor in the church.
Ministers presiding over the Presbytery ordination services were Pastor Michael Jackson, Pastor Levie White, Dr. Morris Halyard and Pastor Anthony Beeks.
The church recently celebrated its 29th year of Pastor Michael Jackson’s leadership. Pastor Jackson has been a dedicated pastor and diligent community leader and a member of the Baptist Ministers conference of Duval County and adjacent counties. For 29 years, the church has been a pillar of society with volunteering at local shelters, providing a food bank for the homeless and ministering to parishioners the gospel according to the teachings of the Baptist church.
