Classical Arts Program Returns to Eugene Butler Middle School

Despite a national pandemic, musicians, and vocalists at an emerging magnet middle school in Duval County perseveres in its pursuit of performing arts excellence. Recently at Eugene Butler Middle School, the band and chorus presented their spring concert under the directorship of Reginald D. Bass who was tapped four years ago to rebuild the program. Twenty-eight musicians and 42 vocalists filled the auditorium with melodious instrumental and vocal performances including Agnus Dei’s Over the Rainbow, The Blue Danube Waltz, Alouette, The World’s Greatest and Amazing Grace.
