By Lynn Jones – Powerhouse fundraiser Jucoby Pittman held a ‘Red Ribbons and Bowties Day Gala,’ soiree inside the Scottish Rites location in downtown Jacksonville.  Heeding the fundraising call, hundreds of supporters were dressed in their red evening attire to celebrate The Clara White Mission 100 year call to service on Ashley Street. Friends of the CWM enjoyed dinner prepared by the mission’s culinary school students, entertainment by The Natural Truth band, a raffle and the opportunity to give back to the mission’s goal of serving the homeless, their culinary program and their newly opened White Harvest Farms community garden on Moncreif Road. CWM President/CEO Jucoby  Pittman more than 30 years at the helm has garnered overwhelming support from the community.  During the gala’s break and welcome, Pittman raised more than 20k for the New Year to support the missions 2025 curriculums. Hosted by Council Rahman Johnson and Keyera Lyn, 2025 Miss Black Florida, guests raised their flutes for a toast in support of the event and CWMs future and continued legacy.
