Clara White Mission hosted their 28th Annual “Miracle on Ashley St. – Celebrity Chefs & Servers Luncheon,” bringing together the city’s homeless and veteran population with a divers cadre of local celebrities.

It’s been two years since Covid delayed the Clara White Mission from planning the event and they were back under the big white tent with food from eager sponsorsEach year, local restaurants donate their culinary gourmet dishes as local celebrity chefs and servers serve their dishes to guests for the fundraiser.

Richard Nunn, WJXT TV-4 Meteorologist, hosted the event with entertainment provided by Akia Uwanda and Friends, the Sassy Seniors and Steppers and DJ Aries.  Over 150 community leaders from Jacksonville first assisted in serving the homeless and then sat down and shared a meal with them.  All proceeds benefit Job Training and Meal Programs for homeless veterans and low-income residents.
