Local celebrities mixed their talents and served food to the homeless for the 23rd annual Clara White Mission’s Annual “Miracle on Ashley Street Celebrity Servers” fundraiser. Each year, Clara White Mission (CWM) organizes community leaders to join their efforts to prepare and serve lunch under the big tent on Ashley St.

On the menu was a bevy of entertainment, plenty of food and the dedicated serving efforts of the celebrity chefs. Over 150 community leaders assisted in serving the 1,300 homeless and patrons who mixed and mingled over lunch. Over the past 20 years, this event has raised more than $595,000.00 to aid in eliminating homelessness in Jacksonville. This year, the mission raised nearly $72,000. The Clara White Mission, Jacksonville’s oldest urban non profit, has offered a unique combination of services and history to the community serving Jacksonville’s homeless and veteran community.
