Canvasser Walk Neighborhoods Education Residents and Registering for Vaccination Access

The State of Florida partnered with local governmental agencies, nurses and volunteers to pre-register residents for the COVID-19 vaccine. Alpha One Staffing agency and the local Community Rehabilitation Center (CRC) partnered to provide staffing for the canvas efforts. More than 150 canvassers teamed up for the two month assignment. Daily efforts comprised of walking through

hundreds of neighborhoods preregistering individuals and chatting, educating and preregistering individuals with residents about the do’s and don’ts of COVID-19 testing and vaccination process. In Florida, there have been 21.7 million COVID-19 cases and 34,470 deaths related to the virus. Shown is canvasser Eugene Eubanks speaking to resident Rosie Lester.
