1967 Eugene Butler graduate Brenda Bellard-Harris held her 75th birthday celebration held at the Amelia National Golf and Country Club. Guests flocked from around the nation to celebrate the woman that prides herself on celebrating others. After spending more than 32 years in California with a career in banking, the honoree returned to Jax in 2003. The elegant evening affair was highlighted with the color red, theme, photos of her life, a catered dinner and music from the Special Formula Band. Bellard continues to volunteer in the community with local schools and continues to work part-time in banking to mentor the next generation. Smiling and speaking with her guests, Brenda smiled and said, “Use Your Passion to Serve as Heart Work and not Hard Work.”
