The Business of Entertainment dialogue with Terrance Howard

The Free Press Urban Traveler was on the scene for the 21st American Black Film festival held June 15 – 18 in Miami Beach to a myriad of film enthusiasts.  Budding filmmakers, producers, actors, actresses, make-up artists and film industry experts converged on Miami Beach for a week of film screenings, red carpet premiers and conversations with well known industry leaders. Founded by movie producer, product marketer, entertainment executive and entrepreneur Jeff Friday, ABFF continues it reign as the premier festival for African American filmmakers to showcase their talents, films and products.  This year’s festival ambassador was actress Regina Hall, currently starring in the movie Girls Trip, scheduled for release in theaters July 21st.  The main event included the dialogue conversations entitled, The Business of Entertainment with industry veterans Mona Scott-Young, John Singleton and ABFF’s “Excellence In The Arts” awardee Terrance Howard.
