Music lovers throughout the state of Florida trekked to Central Florida for the second annual Apopka International Jazz Festival, held recently in Apopka, Florida.  Headlining this year’s event was the legendary Jeffrey Osborn singing his string of hits to a sold-out audience.  Also on the bill was jazz, R&B, salsa band Hiroshima, flutist Nestor Torres, saxophonist Dee Lucas, jazz and soul vocalist Lori Williams. “We doubled our attendance this year.  Floridians showed up and showed out,” said organizer Lori L. Burke. Burke and Steglich-Ross joint venture began as two friends wanting to bring their passion for music, conference/festival planning and execution expertise to host the annual festival. Building on the solid foundation of the successful February 2020 festival, musical entertainers, local bands, diverse food vendors and fine art and crafts held court on the Apopka Amphitheater grounds.
