The Orange Park, Florida Sigma Pi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. honored Bro. Chad Baker as “Brother of the Year” during its annual retreat.
A native of Jacksonville, Baker is a graduate of Bethune Cookman University where he was inducted into the Delta Beta chapter. In addition to being a charter member, he has served as Associate Editor to the Sphinx, chairman of the publications committee, and is the current Second Vice President.
Bro. Baker will compete for “Brother of the Year” at the district level during the Florida District Conference which will be held in Daytona Beach, Florida October 29-31, 2021. Locally, the chapter develops leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities. Alpha Phi Alpha, is the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African American Men founded in 1906.
