$4M Awarded to Local Students During 100 Black Men College Fair

On Saturday, January 18, 2025, the 100 Black Men of Jacksonville, Inc. (J100) hosted its 22nd Annual Infinite Scholars College Fair at the Jessie Ball DuPont Center. The event brought together more than 400 high school students, their families, and representatives from over 20 colleges and universities, including numerous Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

This year’s fair was a resounding success, with approximately $4 million in scholarships and admissions awarded on the spot. Students came prepared with transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters, and essays, embodying the fair’s mission of connecting future scholars with higher education opportunities.
Over the 22-year history of the fair, J100 has facilitated more than $30 million in scholarships and financial aid, underscoring its commitment to fostering educational equity and opportunity in Jacksonville and beyond.
